The Bags
“We feel honored to be the recipients of the “Bearing Others Burdens” bags. Our patients are overjoyed with appreciation for these generous gifts, filled with an abundance of high quality, thoughtfully-chosen products. We tell patients each bag is "hand-made with love". Knowing that there are people in our community thinking of them and offering them support while being treated for cancer is truly impactful."-Julie Bulger, Manager of Patient and Family-Centered Care Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
We have been blessed to collaborate with Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center to provide bags to their patients facing chemotherapy, radiation and stem cell treatments.
Our care and comfort bags contain items specifically selected to provide comfort, encouragement, and remembrance for people dealing with the life altering events of a cancer diagnosis, a miscarriage or loss of a loved one. We have made quality our habit. It’s not something that we just strive for – we live by this principle every day. While most of the things about the creative process will be forgotten, the excellence of our products and services will be remembered.

"Thank you for the very thoughtful care package you sent to me and my husband. I love your heart to love on others during their losses. Miscarriage really is such a strange and painful loss that feels a little more ambiguous than other losses. Being SEEN has meant to much. So thank you, and I'm sorry for your loss as well. I know it's something we will each carry for the rest of our lives."

"I was the recipient of one of your wonderful bags. I cannot tell you what a comfort and blessing it has already been. I had a special sadness over having nothing to remember this baby by, nothing special just for him or her. And then your box came. Thank you for acknowledging and sharing in the reality of our pain. Thank you for not just saying "you'll be fine", "this baby is better off not here" and Thank you for the precious quilt with those comforting words. God is using your ministry to bring so much light and love in darkness I am honored and so grateful to have been a recipient."

"As I sit in the midst of all the items included in the care package you sent, I am a loss on how to thank you. You have definitely helped me with my burden. There are so many items that are bringing me comfort including activity items that I can do while I am eating, drinking tea, nestled with socks and a wonderful throw. I am overwhelmed when I look at the beautiful, creative and touching piece depicting Bob's life. Your group has truly lived up to your name. You guys demonstrate a wonderful example of Christian love.
